Since becoming president in 2013, Kent Hanson has led Anoka-Ramsey Community College through major growth and considerable challenges — earning national recognition, expanding community partnerships, modernizing campus spaces, and navigating the disruptions of the COVID‑19 pandemic well as broader world and community crises. Throughout his tenure, he has remained deeply committed to supporting students, empowering employees and cultivating an inclusive, welcoming environment where everyone can thrive.
