Help to Pay for College

Paying for college can be challenging, but there are many resources to help you.

Apply for Financial Aid

To receive financial aid, you must apply for it. Learn about the FAFSA, how to apply and tips for applying

Review Scholarships, Grants and Loans

Most students receive a combination of these in what's called a financial aid package. Learn more about these options.

Seek Work-Study Positions

Work study programs are jobs offered through the college financial aid office to help you earn money to pay for your education. The financial aid office will determine how many hours you are eligible to work according to your financial need and class load.

Create a Payment Plan

Payment plan options are available. Log into your eServices account, choose "Bills & Payments" > appropriate semester > "create a new payment plan".

More Resources

Student bill/invoices are not mailed. Students need to check their account balances online using eServices. The official method of communication with all students is through their official Anoka-Ramsey email account.

  • Minimum payment criteria must be met by the payment due date for each semester.
  • Students who register and later change their plans for attendance should not rely on the Registration Cancellation for Nonpayment process to complete administrative drops for them. Those who no longer wish to be enrolled must drop their courses via the online registration process and officially withdraw for accurate determination of their financial obligation to the College, if any.

Additional one-time fees or special course charges may occur. Refer to your course schedule for updated fee information. You may also view the Anoka-Ramsey Course Fee Policy 5G.2.
