Get started in ELL courses
The results of your Accuplacer placement test will determine which course(s) you will need before transitioning to college-level courses.
To get started, apply to Anoka-Ramsey and complete the Accuplacer test. Once you've successfully completed those steps, attend orientation to meet with an academic advisor who will help you arrange the right course schedule and register.
ELL tutoring
Specialized tutoring services – by a licensed instructor – are included as part of each ELL course.
Students are also invited to use the regular college tutoring services offered at each campus. These services include:
