Accreditation is a process that evaluates the quality of an institution’s academic programs, operations and support services while providing a framework for continuous improvement. Anoka-Ramsey is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) and some degree programs have specialized accreditations.  

Institutional Accreditation 

Anoka-Ramsey Community College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (hlcommission.org), an institutional accreditor recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Anoka-Ramsey will undergo a Comprehensive Evaluation for Reaffirmation of Accreditation with Higher Learning Commission in Spring 2027 as part of the 10-year Open Pathway Cycle.
