Policy 5D.1 Auxiliary Enterprises: Bookstores
The mission of the Anoka-Ramsey Community College bookstores shall be to facilitate
the sale of required and/or optional educational materials for the courses offered
each semester. The secondary mission of the college bookstores is to facilitate the
sale of educational aids such as school and office supplies, academically priced computer
software, and appropriate leisure reading materials to encourage and benefit the literary
community of the college.
The Anoka-Ramsey Community College Bookstores shall operate as an auxiliary enterprise
belonging to the State of Minnesota. All assets and inventories are the property of
the college. Earnings of the bookstores shall be reinvested in the college as determined
by the President and Vice President.
The daily operation of the bookstores shall be the responsibility of the bookstore
managers under the direction of the Director of Fiscal Services and Auxiliary Enterprises.
