Skills for a Sustainable Future

  1. A Campus Leading Sustainability Efforts

    Anoka‑Ramsey’s commitment to environmental action goes beyond coursework. We’ve launched campus recycling systems, organics composting, a Sustainability Policy, a new 104-module solar array and more.

    In partnership with a Minnesota GreenCorps member, Anoka-Ramsey completed an in-depth greenhouse gas assessment that helped guide the college toward a more sustainable future through a Carbon Action Plan.

Sustainability is woven into many areas of campus life, from classroom discussions to community partnerships. Faculty and staff help model best practices through educational campaigns, an active Sustainability Committee and outreach that support environmental action within the surrounding community.
