Exercise Science AS Degree Program
Admissions and Program Delivery
As a student pursuing a BS degree in Exercise Science, you are dual-enrolled at both Anoka-Ramsey and SMSU. You may enroll as freshmen or transfer into the four-year program.
Once you enroll in the program, you'll complete general education and Associate of Science (AS) in Exercise Science degree requirements from Anoka-Ramsey. These credits will transfer directly to your bachelor's degree from SMSU.
Program Experience
The SMSU and Anoka-Ramsey bachelor's degree program provides strong practical applications for Exercise Science majors, allowing you to perform hands-on experiences in both the classroom and lab. The bachelor's degree culminates in an internship in the career interest of your choice so graduates are prepared to enter the job market or pursue professional and graduate school.
Undergraduate Research
The purpose of undergraduate research is to highlight the original work done by SMSU undergraduate students. You'll have the opportunity to work closely with a faculty member to design and administer an in-depth research project. It is this type of research that develops a student's understanding and professionalism related to the field of Exercise Science.
Undergraduate research also help students to successfully apply to graduate and professional school.
