Program Eligibility Requirements
Eligible participants must qualify as a first-generation college student, come from a low-income household, or have a documented disability.
Participants must have earned a high school diploma or GED and must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident or meet the residency requirements for federal student financial assistance. Unfortunately, PSEO and International students are not eligible to apply for this program.
TRIO SSS Services Offered
Proactive Individual Academic Advising Including:
- Course planning and registration assistance
- Career guidance and choosing a major
- Graduation and transfer planning (visits to four-year universities)
- Financial aid and scholarship application assistance
- Financial literacy education
- Study skills
- Social & cultural activities
- Referral to campus and community resources
